Ilan Folman-Cohen, CFP®

Ilan Folman-Cohen, CFP® joined Joel Isaacson & Co. in 2014 and brings over 12 years of experience in financial and tax planning to the firm.  Ilan provides a systematic and process-oriented approach to achieving financial independence for his clients. Ilan’s clientele take advantage of his strategies to optimize tax efficiency, retirement income, generational wealth and risk management. Ilan also specializes in working with clients who invest in alternative investments such as real estate, private equity, and hedge funds.

Ilan holds a BSBA with concentrations in Management and Marketing from Northeastern University, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional earning his certificate in Financial Planning through NYU and the College for Financial Planning. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and sits on the FPA of NY Metro Pro Bono Committee.

In his free time, Ilan enjoys playing basketball and exploring New York City  with his wife and kids.
